| I have been suffering with heel pain and no shoe was comfortable until I got these. No more limping around! I hope you will try these shoes if you have plantar fasciitis. It is pure heaven to be able to walk again pain free. |

| shoes arrived very quickly and they are great. The fit well, feel good and can take dogs on longer walks without back pain. Now if they would make a shoe this fun for winter months it would be even better. |
Best flip flops ever!

| I was looking for a flip flop that would provide some support for my feet and back since I have frequent back problems. I'm an extremely thrifty shopper, so I was very hesitant to spend so much money on a sandal. The money was DEFINITELY worth it! While I don't know whether or not these actually have toned my legs, they have certainly saved my back and provided much comfort for my feet. I nearly wore out my black pair last year and just received a red pair for Easter. I'm so happy the weather is getting nicer, as I will wear them everyday (even in the house when I'm cooking so the hard floor doesn't make my back ache). |
Mother-in-law loves these!

| I bought these for my 65 year old, very active mother-in-law and she absolutely loves them. She says she normally does not like flip-flops because it bugs her to have something in between her toes, but she says she can wear these for hours and doesn't even know they're there! |

| From comfort to style I love my FitFlops! They are the first shoes to go on my feet in the morning. They must be working my legs and other muscles because depending on how far I walk in them, I can feel soreness in muscles I haven't been using lately. Great shoes to wear everyday. Will be buying more in different colors. With the bad reputation flip-flops have been getting in the news, these FitFlops don't cause soreness between the toes and I am not gripping them to hold them on. I highly recommend them. I wear a size 9 and the size 8 FitFlops fit me perfectly. |
Fitflops Rule!

They're definitely expensive for a rubber sandal. They have a slick marketing campaign that claims they'll tone your muscles as you walk, and a few wearers say they even reduce lower back pain. While some benefits apparently have been proven by laboratory tests, the prudent consumer will take these claims with a healthy dose of skepticism--"Your mileage may vary." They may not be styled to everyone's liking. Most women can probably find a style and color to please them, but men are limited to just one style. But all other considerations aside, Fitflops are worth buying for one simple reason--they are unbelievably comfortable. You can wear them for hours and not even be aware that you have them on. They're "better than walking barefoot."
If you read the other reviews, you'll find a lot of conflicting information about sizing, fit, quality, durability, etc. Some reviewers say to size up; others say size down. Some say they notice a muscle toning effect; others say they don't. Some say Fitflops are well made and durable; others say they started falling apart immediately. All I can do is offer the following personal observations: Fitflops seem to run slightly large, but not exceptionally so. If you're a half-size, I recommend sizing down. My wife normally wears a 6.5, but her size 6 Walkstar fits her perfectly. A slightly larger fit is better than slightly smaller, since your heel must fit into a shallow "pocket" in the sole without extending off the back. They seem to be very well made, although I do mildly question the long-term durability of the very thin toe thong. The straps, sole and footbed all seem to be made of high-quality materials, and are very well put together. Based on a his-and-hers sample of two pairs, they have no manufacturing defects. All in all, they seem to be of extremely high quality.
If you're looking for a highly distinctive, very lightweight, supremely comfortable and (possibly) physically beneficial sandal, and don't mind paying a fairly steep price, I highly recommend that you give a pair of Fitflops a try. |

| Read about these in a magazine, and after reading the reviews, bought them. One person mentioned how they were uncomfortable between the toes--I did have a bit of a rubbing the first time I wore them, but let it heal, and have been wearing them non-stop since then. Can't believe how much better my back feels, and how wonderfully they fit and stay on. Also bought a half size smaller after reading reviews, and they fit perfectly--I'm sure a half size larger would not have fit so well. I love them!!! |
the most comfortable sandal/flip flop ever

I have owned these fitflops for about a year now (I was one of the keen ones who pre-ordered a pair even before they hit the shelves). They are the most comfortble shoes I have ever owned.
The day that brought home to me how comfortable they are was when I spent about 12 hours walking around Disney in California - in 90+ deg F heat, pushing a stroller, basically on my feet continuously all day.
I suddenly realised at the end of the day that - NOTHING ACHED - nothing at all, my feet felt great, my legs didnt ache, my back didnt ache. How many shoes can you wear that will do that - get a pair, they are great and they look good too. I am going to get a second pair in bronze. |
They work... and not just for your legs!

| I love FitFlops. I bought my first pair from B&BW, and wore them almost constantly all summer. They actually eased my heel pain from plantar fascitis that I got with my regular work shoes. The cushioning in these is amazing. I absolutely adore mine and need to get a new pair because these are getting worn down to the nub. Plus, now they have all sorts of new colors! I'd love it if they'd make "FitShoes" so I could have closed-toe shoes to wear at work. If you're on your feet all day, these are the sandals to wear. I swear to you, your feet will *not* hurt at the end of the day. |

| I love my Fitflop sandals! They fit wonderfully, and are the most comfortable shoes that I own! I have plantar fasciitis, and walking has been very uncomfortable for me. I can walk forever in my Fitflops! These are actually my second pair of Fitflops. I also own a pair of WalkStar Fitflops in bronze. I would love to have a pair in every color! I am anxiously awaiting their clogs that are due out in November or December, 2008, so I can wear them to work! |
Darn it if they don't actually work!

| I wear flip flops on a daily basis and can't get by without them, understanding, of course, that they are horrible for support and walking. With this in mind, I decided to try the pink and white Fit Flops; when I got them, I found them to look a bit old-ladyish but took them for a spin anyway. I wore them out & although the disclaimer that came in the box said to wear with caution at first, I scoffed because I didn't feeling anything. The next day, I wore them again & almost couldn't walk. True to their word, the support muscles in my lower legs were completely activated by the Fit Flops! They are nice and squishy with a bit of a bounce that makes my back happy. I'm sold, though I'd get them in black or brown on a repeat purchase. Oh, and yes. They are HUGE. I have a big foot but I'm swimming in mine. Definitely a size smaller would be a better fit. |
Wonderful but should have ordered a size down.

This is my first pair of Flip Flops after lusting for a pair for the last year and half, due to the price I kept putting off purchasing a pair, but now I sure regret that because these are just to comfortable to believed in my opinion. I have had them for about a week and have worn them every day.
The bit between the toe is a bit wider than what I am used to but I had no problem adjusting to it within a day of wearing. The straps are stiff and wide but do help to keep the shoe in place (in my opinion). They are much more attractive on than they are in photos. I also think I should have ordered down a size as the do seem a tiny bit to large, but I am still satisfied with my purchase.
I wore them about 3 days after I got them when I had to leave for a early morning Dr appointment and all day shopping trip. Due to compressed discs and scoliosis usually after I am on feet for long periods of time I have lower back pain, neck pain, and charlie horses in my feet, but with these Fit Flops I had none of that even with the lengthy time I was on my feet. I was so nice not to have to cut the trip short because of pain!
I have never even had a pair of athletic shoes be as comfortable and also prevent the back, neck, and foot pain the way this pair of Flops have!!!
I will defintely be buying another pair and I have already bought a pair as a gift for my best friend who also suffers from the same back problems I do!!! |
wonderful!!

| I got these shoes last summer and I love them. I don't usually like to wear flip flops because I don't like straps between my toes but these don't bother me at all. The best thing I have found about them is that you can wear them for a full day of walking around and not have your feet hurt at the end of the day. Last year I wore them to Six Flags and my feet were fine. Before, if I wore anything other than good walking shoes, my feet would be in serious pain that night or the next day. I have not noticed much in toning but they are very comfortable and I wear them all the time. |
Great for me!!!
