| BLOGGER NEWS NETWORK really did offer an excellent review - so in depth for such a little book. One could say the price is high, but this book is worth it. |

| Liked this little book a lot but did think it was a bit too expensive. I like her easy to read menus, ideas, etc. And it makes a lot of sense... |
Very little useful information. Nothing in here you don't already know. Save $ DON'T BUY

I have found pamphlets in my doctor's office dated from 20 years ago with more insight than this book. Everything in it is something that you read before, and even putting that info into one book doesn't make this worth it.
I am not sure why this book has such good reviews (suspecting friends and family of the author bumping it up). Seriously if you are looking for some insight go somewhere else.
Basically this book = waste of paper and waste of money. |

| This short book is a reminder of the portions of food to eat without using measuring equipment, ie, cup. I would recommend a pocket summary card to take with you when eating out. |
Great book

| This simple book is just what I was looking for. It's not a diet but a useful and practical way to apply the common sense that I already know but don't do. Now I'm actually doing it. I have found nothing else out there that comes close to its usefulness. It's been worth every penny. |
Practical Eating Guide

| I was a bit disappointed with the size of the book (50 pages) for the price of $14.99. The price is a bit steep for what is nothing more than a common sense eating plan. The basis for almost every diet that I have ever seen is quite simple (and I've tried most of them) -- eat less, exercise more. No matter if the book is 50 pages or 500 pages, this is what every diet boils down to. There is no magic to dieting. The formula is pure and simple. If you eat less and exercise more, you will lose weight. It's not rocket science. |
Very pleased with book.

A realistic way to lose...

After literally trying every other diet out there and going up and down with my weight, I just wanted a permanent solution and something I could actually live with. There is no way I am not going to eat bread for the rest of my life! I like this book because it's not really a diet. Nothing is off limits to eat. Instead, the book gives you ways to eat what you want but in the right portions & combinations with whatever else you eat. It also tells you ways to get exercise in your day when you don't have time to always go to the gym, which was helpful since I work and have kids. I keep the book in my purse for motivation.
To be honest, it's taking a while to see the weight come off. I bought the book 6 months ago and have lost 12 pounds. But... the weight is still going down, and I haven't gained anything back. It's changed my life :) |
I swear I've lost a few inches in the last couple of months...

I really liked this book. It was concise, so it was quick to read and easy to understand. The principles that Ms. Gregory talks about are easy to implement, and I've noticed so much change already.
I really recommend this book. If you want to understand the hormonal changes in your body, and the reason why you have belly fat, "Lose the Belly Fat" is indispensable. |
Excellent Book!

| My doctor had the book in her waiting room, and I liked it so much that I wanted to order one for myself. The fact that it is short is the best part--it doesn't have any fluff in it. It's "to the point," so you can read it in an hour, and it has everything you need to know to lose weight. It has a meal plan, helpful graphics (only two, wish there were more), and an easy to understand explanation of why we gain weight around the middle. |

Still a Coke Guy

| My girlfriend made me read Gregory's book due to my fondness for real Coke in the hopes that I would "downsize." Well, page 33 really set me straight -- and everything else made sense, too. I'm still enjoying a real soda, but in the extra small can. Good book -- this beats consuming diet foods anyday! (And my girlfriend is really happy with me!) |

| I thoroughly enjoyed Marcy Gregory's book. Her suggestions are rooted in her knowledge of nutrition, exercise, and human behavior. The book is sprinkled with interesting tips and anecdotes that made for a great read. Best of all, the book is compact enough to slip into your purse and consult on a meal by meal basis. |
Works for Guys too

| My wife bought this book and was so enthusiastic about it that I got pulled into it. To my surprise, I've found that the ideas work for all kinds of people, including guys (I upped my number of food portions to accomodate my bigger size). |
Fantastic!

| This book has provided me with the tools to eat sensibly without dieting. I am now able manage my weight without limiting certain foods, but rather by understanding the components of a healthy meal and portion control. Marcy Gregory, M.S., also advocates the importance of exercise in maintaining a healthy body and good figure--every little bit helps! Her book is motivational and inspirational. This isn't just for perimenopausal women; it's for women of every age, and even men. We all struggle with how to eat, and "Lose the Belly Fat" will put you on track. |
