A Book You Can Count On

Absolutely the best all around calorie counter. Why? Because the book is small (fits in a purse easily), easy use, well laid out, and extremely complete- even has calorie counts for many major restaurants! A book you just can't beat for the price, I highly recommend it for anyone counting calories, fats or carbs. Also recommend The Sixty-Second Motivator for readers who have had difficulty sticking with a diet plan.

| This book has it all. Alcoholic drinks, baking ingredients, bars (breakfast), beverages, bread, cereals, cakes, candy, cheese, condiments, cookies, desserts, fish, fruits, meats, pasta, pies, pizza, poultry, salads, salad dressings, sauces & gravy, snacks, soups, spices, sweeteners, vegetables, yogurt....these are most items listed in the index. It counts calories, fats and carbs and very detailed. It also has many, many restaurants and fast food places listing their menu items. I think this is the most helpful counter book I have ever seen. |

The CalorieKing Calorie, Fat & Carbohydrate Counter 2009
This is a really great book. I use it to keep track of mostly carbs for my Diabetes.
I have both the regular sized one which I carry with me when I travel and the large print one that I use at home. I find some books hard to find things in but but this book is easy to use. I have lots of other carb counting books that I have purchased over the years but this is the one I turn to most. It also is printed on really good quality paper, which is a consideration when you will be leafing through it constantly. I discovered this book by accident a few years back and have been a fan ever since. |

This book has almost every food imaginable and even some you'd rather not think about eating....Spam anyone?
It shows calories, fat, carbs and also has brand named items. I really like that it is also easy to slip into your purse and whip out to see what you should eat if your watching your calories or carbs. |

What a cute little book with pictures of food items but at the same time very comprehensive. I like that it's very detail on the portion size and providing measurements that is clear and understandable. Really like the fast food & restaurant section. It even had Costco Food Court -- no more Costco pizza or hotdogs for me! Also includes generic store items from Whole Foods, Trader Joe's, and Safeway. I've used a lot of different calorie books and this is the most detailed and comprehensive one I've come across. I'm so glad that I got it!

| I was recently diagnosed as Pre-Diabetic. My dietician gave me this book as I need to restrict my Carb intake to 60 carbs per meal. This book has helped me make good, healthy choices and stay within my guidelines for carbs. |
